ESRI Announces Latin American Seminar Series Focusing on GIS-Based Utility Applications

Redlands, California-During the months of February and March, senior ESRI utility specialists will be conducting a series of seminars throughout Latin America to discuss the unique tools provided by ArcGIS and ArcFM to the utility industry.

Jack Dangermond, ESRI president comments, "We have always been responsive to the specific needs of the utility industry. GIS can be used throughout the industry for engineering applications, trouble call analysis, outage analysis, and work management, as well as many emerging automation activities. Our new generation products, the ArcGIS family, provides valuable functionality to the utility user."

Among ESRI's business partners joining the tour are Telcordia, Miner & Miner, and Azteca, as well as local business partners in each country.
