Aeroterra Announces new
Integrated System for Geographical Business Management
Buenos
Aires, Argentina. - Geocoded street data
and other digital cartography for major Argentine
cities and markets, and often costing thousands
of dollars, are now economically bundled with
ArcView GIS with significant cost savings for
commercial users desiring high data quality and
consistency.
AeroterrA's
"Gran Buenos Aires" module includes
an ArcView GIS license with the Spanish extension,
cartographic databases with provincial (23) and
departmental >1500) divisions, and street centerlines
with names and address ranges for the Federal
Capital and 24 municipalities of Gran Buenos Aires.
Aeroterra also provides each user with its "Estilo
Argentino de Direcciones" license for local
address geocoding and an inscription in their
ESRI-certified ArcView training course.
Similar
modules are available for: A) Argentina's other
principal urban centers and markets (Gran La Plata,
Gran Córdoba, Gran Rosario, Gran Mendoza,
Mar del Plata and Bahía Blanca), and B)
Provincial Capitals and other cities (total of
25).
In addition,
Aeroterra provides several optional databases

Detailed
census data with Population (71 variables), Housing
(33 variables) and Homes (58 variables) at block
(or "Radios Censuales" level; Digital
Elevation Modules for all of Argentina for analyzing
topography, visualizing profiles and lines of
sight, cut and fill calculations, etc.; Land Use/Land
Cover for Gran Buenos Aires (from Zárate
to La Plata), including building heights (0-10m,
