AEROTERRA S.A. is a geospatial services organization specialized in the implementation of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing technologies. During the first 10 years of operations, AEROTERRA completed, by means of conventional techniques, more than 8.000.000 Km² of selected natural resources inventories using data provided by different satellites for large regions of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Uruguay and Paraguay.

The development of proprietary and advanced methodologies for updating urban and rural land use plans and property registries, was an early application of conventional photointerpretation during the 70s'. Likewise, projects were successfully completed in more than fifty argentine cities.

Since its beginnings, the company has maintained a special devotion to technology transfer. AEROTERRA has published a great number of volumes related to geoprocessing and has organized and sponsored numerous academic courses and technical training programs in areas like remote sensing, photointerpretation and geoprocessing. Since April 1992, AEROTERRA has a fully equipped Training Center in which regular courses and Seminars are scheduled throughout the year.

Since the late 80s', all of AEROTERRA's services and data products have been generated in digital format. We have installed and routinely updated our hardware, software and network infrastructure in order to provide products and services using cutting-edge technologies.
